A big congratulations to Jen Causey, whose new book Brooklyn Makers is now out. We will be at the Dumbo location of West Elm next week to celebrate along with friends and fellow Brooklynites The Jewels of New York, Odette NY, Saipua and Shabd. Please stop by and say hello. You can even pick up a couple of early holiday gifts! RSVP here.
Had an awesome ladies’ trip to Austin recently with Fay, Jennifer, Jenny and Helen. We had a trunk show at Spartan, swam at Barton Springs, ate at a lot of different food trucks, and I went on a vintage clothing shopping spree.
This weekend the ladies of the Dobbin Mews (Fay, Jennifer, Helen, Jenny and I) are off to Austin! We’ll be hosting a trunk show at Spartan so if you’re in the area please come by and say hello! Looking forward to some time with the ladies, good food, shopping, and Barton Springs.
Besides my husband, Jennifer is probably the person I spend the most time with. As my studiomate at the lovely Dobbin Mews, we see each other five days a week and chat pretty much all day. I’m so happy I’ve gotten to get to know Jennifer – a truly caring friend, and truly talented artist.

Hometown: Fairfax, VA
Where do you currently reside?: Brooklyn, NY
When did you first start wearing perfume? What fragrance was it?: I cannot tell a lie…The Body Shop’s White Musk in junior high!
If you were a plant what would you be?: A peony or an anenome
What’s in your refrigerator right now?: Kale, corn on the cob, figs
Three words that describe you: Introvert, maker, wanderer
The lovely lady I share a studio with, Jennifer, asked my sister and I to model her newest collection of jewelry for Odette NY, called Eye of Ra (check out the full lookbook here and here). I love the esoteric influences in her recent work and happily obliged – especially since it involved a trip to Jackson Heights for henna! I wear the large arrow bracelet now every day.

We are always thankful for the press we receive. Here is a round-up of what appeared in January:
MAISHA MAGAZINE – The Japanese interiors magazine featured me and my husband’s home in their debut issue.
NEW YORK TIMES T MAGAZINE – We were thrilled to learn the actress Hannah Ware wears Noble!
TERRIFIC MAGAZINE – Wrote a terrific article. All puns aside, I do like this interview.
SCENTHIVE – A review of Hunter.
